Police Call: A military term for walking in a line across an open area i.e. parking lots, fields and picking up all trash that is in the designated area. Preformed as a general clean up and as a punishment. The task is carried out by E-3 and below and over saw by NCO's.
Now that you know what a police call is I can tell you about my day, After finishing up at the range at a remarkably early time we loaded up out weapons in the humvee and headed to the armory. We arrived at the armory and turned our weapons in. Thats when the fit hit the shan! We started two formations at that point one with people that had showed up on time this morning and one withe people that didnt show up on time. But there is always that 10% that have to screw everybody else over. So because there was 2 people that would own up to being late we all got to police call the parking lot and armory compound. needlest to say that it sucked. But thats the nature of the beast that the marine corps is and thats not even the worst of the day but we will get to that in a later post.
